Membership Information

The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute is open to those ages 50 and above.

Membership, which is $125 per session, entitles participants to choose up to five classes in a session. Classes are held in Riverside at UCR Extension Center and in the Coachella Valley at UCR Palm Desert Graduate Center (computer classes only) and the Annenberg Center for Health Sciences. There are no tests or grades and no entrance exams or minimum educational background restrictions.

This fall, move to the sounds of Latin American music or experience the opera The Barber of Seville. Delve into the folklore and mythology of Christianity. Take a more holistic approach toward understanding what it is to be human. Examine the experiences of women in U.S. history or the basic historical and cultural trends of feminist thought. Discover the genius of Faulkner or study some of Shakespeare’s dramas. Learn about the customs, culture and philosophy of India, the second most populous country in the world, or unearth what’s new in astronomy and science. Celebrate Nelson Mandela’s birthday. Weigh in on who will be the next president.

How do I become an OLLI participant?
Complete the enrollment form. Each session of classes requires a membership fee of $125. As a member, you are eligible to select up to five classes in each session. The membership fee is not tuition and therefore is not refundable.
